Vibration Welder
Vibration welding is method that puts two parts to be welded on left-right traverse vibration by set frequency(180~240Hz) and amplitude(0.5~2.0mm), pressures them, and welds plastic materials by the friction heat. It is used in the plastic products that require pressure-resistant and high strength and is suitable to the welding of materials such as PP/PA/POM/PPS and automobile parts that use engineering plastics. Also it is not limited by shapes, materials, sizes, and etc., which is shortcoming of ultrasonic welding.
Advantages of vibration welding
- Good ability for plastic parts in large size and complex shapes.
- Short cycle time, High capacity.
- Ability to weld several dissimilar materials.
- Results in high welding strength.
- Multiple products welding per cycle is available.
- Compatible with most thermoplastics.
- Good ability for the welding material damped or with additive.
- Lower cost for maintenance and power consumption.
- Quick change tooling, Easy for automation.
